Maria Bradshaw Chartered FCIPD has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Maria started their career at Scottish Enterprise in 1999, where they held various roles in the HR department. Maria began as an HR Assistant and gradually moved up to become an HR Business Partner and later an HR Operations Manager. During their time at Scottish Enterprise, Maria was responsible for recruitment, managing HR projects, and implementing HR systems.
In 2014, Maria joined Investors in People Scotland as a Board Member. In this role, they helped organizations achieve Investors in People accreditation and provided advisory services on business issues, health, and wellbeing.
Returning to Scottish Enterprise in 2015, Maria took on the role of Head of People Development. Maria led a team responsible for identifying current and future organizational competencies, developing learning programs, and supporting staff in effectively delivering their objectives. In 2019, they were promoted to the position of Director of People, where they had overall responsibility for delivering the organization's People Strategy and leading various corporate support functions.

Maria Bradshaw Chartered FCIPD obtained a BA(Hons) degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Strathclyde between 1995 and 1999. Prior to that, they attended Holy Cross High School in Hamilton from 1989 to 1995. Currently, they are pursuing a part-time MSC in Occupational and Organisational Psychology at Northumbria University.
