Willie Mackie has over 36-years of financial services experience and is a board member of Skills Development Scotland.
Willie is a fellow of the Institute of Bankers in Scotland and has over 36 years of experience in the financial services sector including a spell as the managing partner of Clydesdale Banks Business, Private and Agriculture business across Ayrshire and Arran.
He established his business consultancy in January 2013. He has played an active role in supporting and promoting economic development and has held a number of non-executive positions, Scottish Enterprise Ayrshire (Board Member), Ayrshire Economic Partnership (Member), Ayrshire Chamber (past President), and Taste Ayrshire (Chair).
He was appointed by the Cabinet Secretary to the role of the Regional Chair of Ayrshire College in 2013, is a board member of College Scotland and College Development Network where he is also chair of the Audit Committee.
In 2014 he was appointed to the board of Skills Development Scotland where he is Chair of the Finance and Operational Committee.
