Roy Richardson possesses extensive experience in environmental policy and management, currently serving as Principal Policy Officer for River Basin Management Planning at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency since January 2015. Prior to this role, Roy held the position of Principal Policy Officer for Flood Risk Management at SEPA from August 2002 to January 2015. Earlier in the career, Roy worked as a Senior Associate at Philip Williams & Associates, LTD, after serving as a Research Associate at Kings College. Roy's academic background includes a PhD in River Geomorphology and a BEng in Civil Engineering, both obtained from the University of Nottingham.
