Jamie Milligan

Jamie Milligan is an experienced communications professional currently serving as an External and Internal Communications Officer for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service since December 2017. In this hybrid role, Jamie manages both internal and external communications for one of the world's largest fire and rescue services. Prior to this, Jamie worked as a Senior Reporter at DC Thomson from July 2015 to December 2017, where responsibilities included producing content and managing a team of reporters while covering breaking news for multiple regional editions of The Courier. Jamie holds a BA in Sports Journalism from the University of the West of Scotland, earned between 2007 and 2011.
