Sandy MacDonald Ficrs

Sandy MacDonald FICRS currently serves as Executive Director of Impact Assessment and Reporting at The Scottish National Investment Bank, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Sandy was Director of Public Policy and Communications at Scottish Financial Enterprise from May 2021 to September 2023, where responsibilities included leading communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement, as well as serving as the executive sponsor for the net zero journey. Prior to that, Sandy held various roles at Standard Life Aberdeen from May 2008 to January 2021, including Global Head of Corporate Sustainability, Senior Public Affairs Manager, and Senior Corporate Communications Manager, overseeing strategies related to sustainability, public affairs, and corporate communications. Sandy's early career at Standard Life UK featured roles such as Internal Communications Manager and Communications Consultant from 2002 to 2008. Sandy's educational background includes a BSc in Biological Sciences from The University of Edinburgh, a CIM Advanced Certificate in Marketing, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Printing and Publishing from University of the Arts London.
