Duncan Beattie has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the energy and media sectors, currently serving as Commercial Director at ScottishPower since March 2005, following a progression through various managerial positions such as Energy Services Director and Head of Procurement. Prior experience includes impactful roles at STV Group plc as Business Process Improvement Manager and at Allied Domecq in procurement management. Early career stages featured positions at British Linen Bank and Arthur Andersen & Co. Duncan Beattie holds a Master's Degree in Economics/Management Studies from the University of Glasgow and is a Six Sigma Accredited Black Belt, with additional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply.
