Tessa Ryan

Tessa Ryan, P.Eng, currently serves as the Lead Asset Engineer at ScottishPower since March 2025, bringing extensive experience in asset management from previous roles as a Senior Asset Engineer at Jersey Electricity plc and Asset Management Engineer at EPCOR. Tessa's expertise encompasses the design of asset management systems to optimize operational and capital expenditures within power generation and distribution. With a solid foundation in engineering, Tessa holds a PhD in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Alberta, alongside a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Simon Fraser University and a Project Management Certificate from NAIT. Notably, Tessa has contributed to various engineering teams across multiple disciplines including distribution system planning and project management at EPCOR, and held leadership roles such as President of the SFU Engineering Science Student Society.
