Samuel Hidalgo-Clyne is a professional rugby player with extensive experience, currently playing for the Scottish Rugby Union since June 2011. Hidalgo-Clyne has earned full representative honors with various age-level Scottish teams, including U17, U18, and U20, and has participated in the Scotland U20 World Cup in multiple positions such as fly-half, scrum-half, and full-back. Additionally, Hidalgo-Clyne was a member of the Scotland 7's team during the 2011/2012 season, competing in international events across Australia, South Africa, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Prior to the current role, Hidalgo-Clyne played for Benetton Rugby Treviso from June 2022 to December 2023 and represented Edinburgh Rugby from January 2010 to April 2020. Education was completed at Merchiston Castle School from 2006 to 2011.
