Colin Forrest

Colin Forrest is a Senior Technical Assistant at Bakkafrost Scotland since June 2022, responsible for coordinating and operating an auditing service across the business, ensuring effective resource utilization and completion of actions. Previously, Colin served as the Strategic Lead for Aquaria Innovation and Technology and Named Animal Care and Welfare Officer at the University of Stirling from August 2017 to June 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the care of protected animals and managing advanced aquaculture systems. Colin’s experience in the aquaculture industry dates back to June 2002, with a tenure at Howietoun Fishery as a Senior Stock Worker, performing various husbandry tasks. Colin holds an HND in Fish Farm and Fishery Management from Barony College, completed between 2000 and 2002.
