Michael Hill

Michael Hill is a seasoned ecological professional with extensive experience in biological management and consultancy within the fisheries sector. Currently serving as the Biological Stakeholder Manager at Bakkafrost Scotland since December 2019, Michael previously held positions such as Consultant Ecologist - Fisheries Lead at MacArthur Green and Aquatic/Fisheries Scientist at Eco-Fish Consultants Ltd. Michael's expertise includes conducting various ecological surveys, protected species assessments, and environmental advising for both onshore and offshore windfarm projects, along with a solid foundation in field research from earlier roles as a field ecologist and research assistant. Michael holds an MSci with 1st Class Honours in Marine and Freshwater Biology from the University of Glasgow.
