Alan Stewart Ceng

Alan Stewart MBA CEng is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in operational management and engineering within the transportation sector. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering O&M Offshore at ScottishPower Renewables since April 2024, Alan has previously held senior positions including Head of Service Availability & Maintenance at Strathclyde Partnership for Transport and Senior Service Delivery Manager for the HST Fleet at ScotRail. Alan's background includes roles at Perpetuum Ltd. and Siemens AG, where responsibilities encompassed engineering oversight for various fleets, including the Siemens Heathrow Express. Additionally, Alan has led teams at Bombardier Transportation, contributing significantly to the maintenance and engineering of London Underground rolling stock. Academic qualifications include an MBA from The Open University and a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, complemented by a Chartered Engineer designation from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
