Samantha Chinyoka

Samantha Chinyoka is a Graduate Electrical Engineer currently engaged with ScottishPower Renewables, contributing to operations and maintenance, project delivery, and global technical services. With a diverse background in engineering and renewable energy, Samantha has played key roles in significant projects, including the construction of a 50 MW BESS asset and the development of technical procedures to enhance operational performance in renewable energy facilities. As a co-founder of Better Than Rubies, a charity focused on supporting institutionalized children, and through various volunteer roles, including a Student Energy Fellow, Samantha demonstrates a commitment to social impact and sustainable development. Educational qualifications include an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems from the University of Leeds.
