Kati Ballares has an extensive work experience in the field of public art management. Kati is currently serving as the Director of Public Art at Scottsdale Arts since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the City of Phoenix from 2017 to 2023 as a Public Art Project Manager, overseeing multiple projects and implementing new communication strategies. From 2009 to 2017, they worked at the City of Charlotte as a Program Administrator, responsible for integrating public art into transit projects and acting as a liaison between artists and project teams. Kati also has experience as an Executive Intern at McColl Center for Visual Art, where they assisted with marketing, accounting, and event production.
