Christy Harris Lemak, PhD FACHE, serves as the Executive Vice President of Research & Learning at Scottsdale Institute since July 2023. Additionally, Christy holds the positions of Professor and Chair of Health Services Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since June 2014, and Deputy Director at the Marnix E. Heersink Institute for Biomedical Innovation since July 2022. Christy also contributes as a Board Member at Community Hospital Corporation since December 2015 and has held leadership roles including Past Chair of the Board of Directors at AUPHA and a Board Member at the National Center for Healthcare Leadership from 2011 to 2022. Formerly, Christy was the Director of the Griffith Leadership Center in Health Management and Policy (2011-2014) and an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan (2008-2014). Education credentials include a PhD in Health Services Organization and Policy from the University of Michigan, an MHA from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a BS in Health Planning & Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
