Kevin Rathke

Kevin Rathke joined Scout in 2015 and serves as Vice President of Operations, responsible for asset operations for the North Division.

Kevin earned his BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1994. He has over 28 years of experience in the industry across a wide variety of roles including business development, reservoir development/exploitation and oil and gas asset operations.

Kevin started his career at Sperry-Sun Drilling Services in Lafayette, LA, before moving to Merit Energy Company as an Operations Engineer for the Permian Basin, where he spent over 10 years in acquisitions, operations, engineering and commodity product marketing roles across the asset portfolio, with a focus on properties in the Rockies area. He then spent nearly seven years at EnCana Oil and Gas, Petroleum Development Corporation of Denver, and Klabzuba Oil and Gas of Denver in various roles including reservoir engineering, A&D, operations and senior management.

Kevin is a member of AADE (American Association of Drilling Engineers) and SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers). He also volunteers with Best Buddies and 29 Acres, organizations specializing in assisting people with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD), autism and other neuro-diversities.
