Brian Gao is a skilled VR Capture Artist currently employed at Scout House since April 2023. Previously, Brian worked as an Environment Artist at Respawn Entertainment from November 2021 to March 2023, focusing on modeling, texturing, and optimizing game-ready assets for Unreal Engine, as well as set-dressing environments with storytelling elements. Prior to this, Brian served as an Associate Environment Texture Artist at Naughty Dog, where responsibilities included texturing and light modeling of assets using proprietary texture editing tools. Brian holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts from Gnomon, completed in 2021, and studied at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2014 to 2017.
