Christopher Gertz is a seasoned professional in manufacturing engineering with extensive experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering at Scout Motors Inc. since September 2023, Christopher previously held the position of Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Body & Paint. Prior experience includes a role as a Manufacturing Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. from July 2019 to September 2023, where Christopher managed multiple value streams and engaged in problem-solving related to safety, efficiency, and quality. At Ford Motor Company from June 2016 to June 2019, Christopher contributed to various engineering roles, including investigations into automated tooling backups and the analysis of welding processes. Christopher began the engineering career as a Metallurgical Intern at ArcelorMittal and a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op at Magellan Aerospace. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University.
