Maya Davis has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Maya most recently worked at Scout Motors Inc. as the Manager of Project Steering. Prior to that, they were with Tesla, where they held the roles of Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer - Manager and Supplier Industrialization Engineer. Before their time at Tesla, Maya worked at BMW Group as a Supplier Quality Engineer and as part of the Global Leadership Development Program in the Supply Chain/Purchasing department. Maya also has experience at Harley-Davidson Motor Company as a Graduate Fellow in Manufacturing and Supply Base. Maya's earlier work experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, a Planning and Growth Project Management Intern at Charles County Government, an Engineering Intern at Energetics Technology Center, and a Sustainability Intern at Port Tobacco River Conservancy.
Maya Davis has an extensive education history. Maya pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Environmental/Electrical Engineering at Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. After completing their bachelor's degree, they continued their studies at Dartmouth College where they earned an A.B. in Engineering Sciences. Maya also dedicated time to further their understanding of the Spanish Language and Literature at the Universitat de Barcelona. Following these accomplishments, they returned to Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth for their Masters of Engineering Management, with a dual focus in Manufacturing/Operations and Energy. Maya also enrolled in the Environmental Law Distance Learning Program at Vermont Law and Graduate School, specializing in Alternative Fuels and Renewable Energy.
In addition to their degrees, Maya obtained several certifications related to their field of study. These certifications include Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, both obtained from Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth.
