Umachandran Muralidharan

Umachandran Muralidharan is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive sector, currently serving as the Senior Director of Advanced Digital Technology at Scout Motors Inc. since March 2024, where responsibilities include leading the development of a digital twin strategy and overseeing vehicle simulation frameworks. Previous roles include Senior Director of CAE at Fisker, where Umachandran established the CAE functional group, and Director of Vehicle Safety & CAE, contributing to safety features and crash structures. Prior experience includes positions at BYTON, Faraday Future, Ford Motor Company, Johnson Controls, MRF, and Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited/IIT Madras, focusing on crash safety, CAE, and product development.
