Nicole Verkindt

Nicole Verkindt is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as the Founder and CEO of OMX since November 2011, Verkindt has developed an online platform for tracking socio-economic impacts. In addition to this role, Verkindt is a Member of the Strategic Advisory Board at Scoutbee and served as CEO of BUGGY.CA, a rapid retail logistics platform, from July 2022 to June 2024. Previous leadership positions include serving as a Director on the Board of the Canadian Commercial Corporation and the Business Council of Canada, and as a Board member for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Verkindt has a background in international trade and defense, having held roles with CryptoGlobal and GMA Corp. Also notable is Verkindt's involvement in academia, serving on the Advisory Board for the Munk School of Global Affairs. Educational credentials include a business degree from Ivey Business School and coursework at Neuchatel Junior College focused on world issues.
