Don MacDonald

Don MacDonald has extensive experience in organizational leadership and program management within the scouting community. Currently serving as the Council Relationships Manager and Executive Director for the Prairies and Northern Ontario at Scouts Canada since October 2007, Don oversees membership, volunteer support, safety, program quality, and overall organizational capacity across three councils. Previously, Don held the position of Council Field Executive for the Cascadia Council, providing support to multiple areas and service groups. From February 1999 to September 2007, Don was the Director of Canadian Programs at Northern Tier BSA, managing both summer and winter programs with significant participant engagement and a large staff team. Don holds an Associate Diploma in Agriculture from the University of Guelph, obtained between 1980 and 1982.
