Michelle Whipple

Michelle Whipple has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. Michelle'smost recent position was as the Head of Quality Assurance at scPharmaceuticals, where they have been since February 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Quality Systems and Compliance at Rentschler Biopharma SE (formerly Ipsen, Baxter, Baxalta, Shire) from April 2018 to February 2020. Michelle also held the role of Head of US Quality Validation at Baxter International Inc./ Baxalta/ Shire from December 2014 to April 2018. Michelle has previously worked as a Validation Manager at Ipsen from August 2011 to December 2014, as an Associate Director, QA Validation at Bristol-Myers Squibb from January 2007 to August 2011, as a Manager QA Validation at AstraZeneca from February 1999 to January 2007, and as a Validation Engineer at Genzyme from August 1995 to February 1999.

Michelle Whipple earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completing their studies from 1993 to 1995.
