Cyrus Karbassiyoon

Cyrus Karbassiyoon is an experienced entrepreneur and product leader with a strong background in technology and software development. Currently serving as the CPO and Co-founder of Scratchpad since October 2019, Cyrus has played a pivotal role in creating an AI-driven workspace for sales teams. Prior to this, Cyrus co-founded PersistIQ, a notable sales engagement platform, and led its product, design, and engineering efforts until its acquisition by Wishpond in September 2019. Cyrus also co-founded Lera Labs, where various SaaS and analytics ideas were tested, leading to the inception of PersistIQ. Earlier career experiences include working as a Software Engineer at SocialShield, a company focused on safeguarding children on social networks, and co-founding Shufl, a photo backup and sharing platform. In addition, Cyrus has consulted for Amentra, Inc. and has been involved with Y Combinator since 2014. Educationally, Cyrus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, earned between 2000 and 2005.
