Nicole Nakagawa has extensive legal experience in the entertainment industry, currently serving as Senior Deputy General Counsel at SAG-AFTRA since November 2010. Prior to this role, Nicole held various positions within SAG-AFTRA, including Deputy General Counsel, Assistant General Counsel, and Associate General Counsel. Additionally, Nicole serves as Executive Counsel for the Screen Actors Guild Awards and previously worked as Counsel for Screen Actors Guild, Inc. from October 2007 to November 2010. Early legal career experience includes an associate position at Wylie, McBride, Platten & Renner from 2004 to 2007. Nicole obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from Santa Clara University School of Law (2001-2004) and a degree from UC Irvine (1996-2000).
