Marcel Smit

Marcel Smit has worked in the software engineering industry since 2000. Marcel began as a Software Engineer at IT&T tsc before transitioning to a Freelance Software Engineer at Smit Software Engineering in 2006. From 2007 to 2008, Marcel worked as a Software Engineer at GE Healthcare and GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies. In 2007, they took on the role of Software Designer at Imtech ICT. From 2015 to 2017, Marcel held the role of Senior Controls Development Engineer at Vanderlande, where they worked on the technical software responsible for controlling the peripheral devices which in turn control the handling systems. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ADLINK Technology. Finally, Marcel is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Inspiro, a position they have held since 2018.

Marcel Smit attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1997, where they earned an ing. in Medical Electrical Engineering.
