John Gehred M.D.

John Gehred MD has extensive experience in healthcare leadership and education. Currently serving as a Scribe Ambassador at ScribeAmerica since February 2024, John focuses on educating and managing medical scribes. As the Chief Executive Officer and Physician Executive at Patients without Providers since December 2014, John emphasizes the importance of physician leadership in enhancing patient and employee satisfaction. Previous roles include tutoring high-level science and math courses at Tutor Doctor and serving as a Medical Editor/Writer for USAID's HIV Nigeria project. John has also held positions such as Physician Liaison at Denver Health, where management of outpatient and inpatient care occurred, and Associate Medical Director at MCPN, overseeing clinical practices and personnel. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The University of New Mexico School of Medicine and a Bachelor’s Degree in Preprofessional studies with an emphasis on Human Biology from the University of Notre Dame.
