Spencer Upton

Spencer Upton has over 20 years of experience in information systems and technology management, currently serving as Project Manager for Information Systems at Scripps Health since March 2013. Additionally, Spencer has been with San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine since March 1999, holding various leadership roles including IT Director, Data Center Manager, Network/Systems Administrator, and Helpdesk Coordinator. In these positions, Spencer has been responsible for strategic planning, design, security, and administration of a data network supporting over 1,000 users, and supervising teams in HelpDesk and Telecommunications. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from San Diego State University, earned between 1997 and 1999.
