Tracy Chu

Tracy Chu is the Corporate VP & Population Health Chief Executive at Scripps Health. Tracy previously served as the Chief Resident Physician at Scripps Mercy Hospital, Event Coordinator at American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, and Wellness Coordinator and Community Advisor at the American Medical Student Association (AMSA).

Tracy Chu graduated from medical school in 2013 and has been working in the healthcare industry ever since. Tracy has experience coordinating events, managing wellness programs, and advising community members on health-related issues. In their current role at Scripps Health, Tracy is responsible for overseeing the population health initiatives of the organization. Tracy is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the communities Scripps Health serves.

Tracy Chu has a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University School of Medicine Arizona, a Master of Science in Biology (GI Cancer) from UC San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biochemistry/Cell Biology from UC San Diego. Tracy also has certification from the University of Virginia in Introduction to Personal Branding, the University of Pittsburgh in Epidemics, Pandemics, and Outbreaks, and Johns Hopkins University in COVID-19 Contact Tracing. In addition, they are certified by the American Heart Association as a Healthcare Provider First Aid/CPR instructor and Pediatric Advanced Life Support provider.
