Steve Larese

Steve Larese is a seasoned writer and photographer with extensive experience in travel and journalism. Currently serving as a writer for GearJunkie since June 2023, Larese has also contributed to Travel Channel International as a freelance contributor and travel video producer since April 2016. Additional roles include contributing editor for the Mountain Rescue Association and freelance writer for notable publications such as Lonely Planet, VIE Magazine, and Sierra Magazine. Larese has been a travel correspondent for Forbes since June 2013 and has been providing content for National Geographic Traveler since 1999. Educational qualifications include a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting from Oklahoma State University.
