Karsten Sauer

Karsten Sauer is a prominent professional in the field of biochemistry and immunology, currently serving as Vice President of Preclinical R&D at Cullinan Therapeutics since September 2022. With a distinguished academic tenure at The Scripps Research Institute since 2006, Karsten has held various positions, including Adjunct Associate Professor and Associate Professor, leading research teams and contributing to significant discoveries in immune cell signaling and hematopoietic stem cell function, with publications in top-tier journals. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Repertoire Immune Medicines, where Karsten helped shape corporate strategies and developed innovative immunotherapeutic programs, and Pfizer, directing cancer immunotherapy drug discovery efforts.
