Bob Jiang

Bob Jiang has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Bob started their career as a Software Engineer at Asiainfo, where they worked on tech support and developed billing systems. Bob then moved on to Nortel Networks, where they continued as a Software Engineer.

In 2010, Bob joined Ericsson and took on multiple roles, including ScrumMaster, Agile Coach, and Software Engineer. Bob played a key role in initiating an agile service team and developing GSM core OAM systems.

Bob's passion for Agile methodologies led him to become a core member of the China Agile Community, where they organized conferences and activities to connect people. During their time at JD.com, they served as an Agile Coach.

Additionally, Bob founded the HiBlock blockchain developer community in 2018. The community aims to promote and help developers master and apply blockchain technology.

In 2016, Bob joined Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Trainer, specializing in Scrum theory and gamification-based learning methods. Currently, they work as a Professional Freelancer at Gitcoin, where they lead user support and serves as a Gitcoin Steward.

Bob Jiang completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Xi'an Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2001. Bob then pursued a Master's degree in Telecommunication at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications from 2011 to 2014. In 2009, Bob Jiang also engaged in public speaking and leadership development at Toastmasters. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2006. Subsequently, Bob Jiang achieved various Scrum certifications including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) in December 2013, Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) in December 2013, and Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) in June 2016.
