Michael Vizdos

Michael Vizdos has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Michael started their career as a Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) where they gained experience working on projects with clients such as General Motors, IBM, and Domino Sugar. After that, they worked as the Director of Midrange Systems at Eclipsys, a startup company. Michael then joined TRACI Network Solutions as the Manager of the Consulting Division on a short-term contract. Following this, they worked as the Senior Director of Professional Services at Brience, where they learned about the importance of sales and delivery alignment and the value of working closely with customers. From there, they became the President of Ronin International, Inc., where they worked with Scott Ambler and learned important lessons about resilience and networking. Michael then transitioned into the role of Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) at the Scrum Alliance, providing training in Scrum methodologies. Their next role was as the Scrum Master In Residence at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they taught and practiced Agile and Scrum ideas with students, faculty, and staff. Currently, they work as an Agile Coach and Consultant at Blueprint Education Inc., focusing on coaching teams and implementing Agile practices. Throughout their career, Michael has been passionate about Agile methodologies, advocating for change, and helping organizations improve their processes.

Michael Vizdos attended Florida Atlantic University from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Entrepreneurial Management. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Top Secret / SCI Clearance from the United States Department of Defense in 2018. Additionally, they hold several certifications from the Scrum Alliance, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) obtained in May 2011, Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) obtained in May 2006, Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) obtained in May 2005, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) obtained in January 2004. Michael is also a Registered Education Provider (REP) with the Scrum Alliance.
