Mie Yaginuma

Mie Yaginuma is the current Director of Marketing and Operations at Scrum Ventures. Mie has previously been self-employed, working part-time with several Japanese companies in San Francisco on marketing. Yaginuma has also worked as a N.A. Market Manager at COOKPAD Inc., Marketing Manager, Partner Relations at Evernote, and PR Manager at GREE International, Inc. In their role as PR Manager, they were responsible for managing all top-tier TypePad Business Class accounts and maintaining communication with high-profile clients. Yaginuma was also instrumental in adding over 160 new accounts with no marketing budget. Prior to their work at GREE International, Inc., Yaginuma served as Senior Account Manager, TypePad Business Class at Six Apart and Programs Officer at the International Monetary Fund.

Mie Yaginuma's educational career began with a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory from Lewis & Clark College. Mie then went on to study Japanese Modern Theirtory at UC San Diego before completing their studies with a Theirtory degree from Reed College.
