Kristen White

Kristen White has a diverse work experience. Kristen began their career as a Marketing Intern at Mr Price Group in June 2018. Kristen then worked as a Private Marketing Tutor for a first-year AAA Marketing student, providing assistance and support in completing assignments and studying for examinations. Kristen also worked as a Ski Rental Technician and Cashier at Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort, where they gained new skills while exploring the American culture.

In 2019, Kristen served as a Marketing Intern at Times Digital, where they gained practical experience in creating website content, assisting with account budget reconciliation, and developing brand presentations for client pitches. During their time there, they also helped with social media content planning and artwork development.

Kristen's next role was an Au Pairing Abroad position for an Italian family based in Milan. This experience allowed their to travel Europe, learn new cultures, and broaden their perspective.

In 2020, Kristen joined Canway (Pty) Ltd as an Assistant Brand Manager before being promoted to Senior Assistant Brand Manager in May 2022. Their responsibilities included managing brand activities and developing marketing strategies.

More recently, Kristen worked as a Project Manager at SovTech and Pets24.co.za, starting in November 2022. As a Project Manager, they likely handled various projects and oversaw their successful execution.

Throughout their various positions, Kristen acquired valuable skills in project management, brand management, marketing, communication, and cross-cultural understanding.

Kristen White obtained their Bachelor of Business Science degree in Marketing from the University of Cape Town, where they attended from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Matriculation at St Mary's School from 2010 to 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Kristen acquired various qualifications. In October 2022, they completed the course "Google Analytics for Beginners - Master Google Analytics" at Udemy. Kristen also obtained certifications in "Problem solving and Decision Making" from the KZN Business Training Centre in May 2022, "Internal Customer Service" in September 2021, "Assertiveness and Conflict Resolution" in August 2021, "Emotional Intelligence - Self-Mastery and Interpersonal Skills" in July 2021, and "Time and Stress Management" in July 2021, all from the KZN Business Training Centre. Kristen also obtained the "Google Analytics for Beginners" certification from Google Analytics in October 2022 and the "Google Ads Search Certification" from Google Ads in January 2020.
