Alexandre Boursier

Alexandre Boursier has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Alexandre started their career in 2003 as a Senior Auditor at Rainforest Alliance, supporting their work in the Congo Basin. From there, they worked as a Lead Auditor at Control Union from 2013 to 2016. Alexandre then joined Forest Stewardship Council International as a Consultant from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they also served as a Certification expert for FAO and a Consultant for NEPCon. In 2017, Alexandre became a Lead Auditor at SCS Global Services and a Consultant at SOFRECO. Alexandre is currently working as the SmartCert Director at SmartCert since October 2016.

Alexandre Boursier holds a Master's degree in Agroforestry from Université Laval. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management from the same university. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in various areas such as LegalSource Assessor, Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) Lead auditor, ISO Lead auditor, and FSC Lead auditor.
