Shelly Hansel

Shelly Hansel has a diverse work experience, starting as a Reporter/Weather Anchor at KPNX 12 News NBC from 1996 to 2000, then moving on to KAKE-TV in the same role until 2003. Shelly later worked as the Executive Director at Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB, where they promoted and grew businesses until 2015. Shelly'sexperience includes roles such as Sales and Marketing Manager at Brookdale Senior Living, Mayor of the City of Wellington, and Director of Public Relations at SCTelcom. Shelly also held positions such as Community Development Director at Harper County, Kansas, and Community Relations Manager at Kansas Leadership Center, showcasing their diverse skill set.

Shelly Hansel pursued General Studies at Cowley College from 1985 to 1986. Shelly then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas between 1986 and 1990.
