Laura Davies

Laura Davies is a Principal at SCVC, focusing on investments in early-stage deep tech companies that enhance healthcare, quality of life, and environmental sustainability since August 2021. Additionally, Laura serves as an Investment Manager and Member at Science Creates, a role held since August 2021. Current positions include Non-Executive Director at Bitrobius Genetics and Board Observer roles at Scarlet Therapeutics Ltd and Isomab Ltd. Laura's previous experience includes Senior Innovation Manager at BBSRC from July 2018 to August 2021, and Senior Scientist at Adaptimmune Ltd from August 2015 to June 2018. Educational credentials include a DPhil in Biochemistry and an MBiochem in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
