Wouter Wehmeijer

Wouter Wehmeijer has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a General Counsel at SCW Systems since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at PGGM Investments from April 2017 to October 2022, where they held two positions. First, they were a Senior Legal Counsel responsible for the legal aspects of private market transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, fund investments, and risk sharing. Then, they served as the Acting Head of Tax, Legal & Regulatory, managing a team of professionals and overseeing all tax, legal, and regulatory matters within the investment management business.

Before joining PGGM Investments, Wouter worked at NautaDutilh for six years from November 2011 to February 2017. As an Attorney at law - Associate, they focused on capital markets transactions, advising listed companies on their obligations and compliance with market abuse rules. Wouter also had previous experience with the Financial Law Group within the same firm.

Additionally, Wouter has had brief stints at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a Secondee in August 2012 and NautaDutilh as an Intern from July 2011 to September 2011. Wouter was also a Parttime employee at Finnius advocaten from November 2010 to June 2011.

Wouter began their professional journey with an internship at ING in the Equity Capital Markets division from July 2009 to November 2009. Wouter was also actively involved in the organization Integrand Rotterdam as the Chairman & Company Relations from 2007 to 2008.

Wouter Wehmeijer's education history includes several notable institutions and degree programs.

Wouter began their academic journey at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2004 and completed a Bachelor's degree in Financial Economics in 2008. During this time, they also took part in a program at the Barcelona School of Economics, where they obtained a Master's degree in Finance from 2008 to 2009.

Afterwards, from 2010 to 2011, Wehmeijer attended the University of Amsterdam and pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Private/Corporate law.

Wouter then briefly attended The Law Firm Schoool in 2012 and 2013 before moving on to their most recent educational endeavor at the CFA Institute.

From 2017 to 2021, Wehmeijer successfully completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams Levels I, II, and III.
