Daniel Rocco Vasilescu

Daniel Rocco Vasilescu is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in the cruise industry. Currently serving as Culinary Director for Tauck River Cruises at Scylla AG since October 2017, Daniel has previously held roles as Corporate Chef for Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection from June 2013 to January 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple ships and launching new vessels in Amsterdam and Kolkata. Prior experience includes positions as Executive Chef at Royal Caribbean Cruises, where Daniel was part of the opening team for Oasis of the Seas, Chef De Cuisine at Disney Cruise Line, and Chef at Hotel Shangri La Corsetti in Rome, which was recognized as one of the top dining establishments in the area. Daniel's educational background includes studies at the European University of Tourism in Rome.
