Ashot Harutyunyan

Ashot Harutyunyan is the Chief Technology Officer at Scylla, a real-time threat detection system. Scylla monitors real-time video streams to predict violent behavior and identify acts of violence. Artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning are used to identify, analyze and respond to threats quickly and accurately. We help response teams take immediate actions to reduce the number of victims from violent crime, active shooting events, and terrorist acts. We intend to revolutionize the security and surveillance industry.

Ashot has also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Develandoo, where they helped solve two major problems for companies: 1. Corporate Innovation departments are under huge pressure and face a constant demand to create new data-driven businesses based on Artificial Intelligence. In our ITaaS (Innovation Team as a Service) model, we work with corporate innovation departments as engineering partners and support them with Artificial Intelligence strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end solutions implementation. 2. Most of the startups have issues with finding capital or engineering resources to support their growth. In our CBaaS (Company Building as a Service) model, we work with early-stage companies by providing all of their engineering needs to reach product milestones. We act as a co-founder and co-funder, where we invest time and sometimes capital. We are generally compensated for our CBaaS services by a combination of cash fees, revenue share, exclusive integration partnership, and equity.

Before their time at Develandoo, Ashot served as Lead Engineer at Allianz X.

Ashot Harutyunyan attended the Gyumri Information Technologies Center from 2009 to 2011, where they studied web programming. Ashot is also an Amazon Web Services (AWS) certified developer.
