Pavel Emelyanov

Pavel Emelyanov is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and architecture, currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at ScyllaDB since October 2019. Previous roles include Software Architect at Virtuozzo from December 2015 to October 2019 and significant contributions to Parallels from March 2007 to October 2019, including the creation and maintenance of the CRIU project and leadership of the Linux kernel team. Additional experience includes contributions to the Linux kernel from 2009 to 2016 and development work at OpenVZ and SWsoft. Emelyanov holds a PhD in Computer Science and an MSc in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
