Yaniv Kaul

Yaniv Kaul currently serves as the VP of Research and Development at ScyllaDB, where leadership encompasses the core product and cloud offerings of an ultra-low latency NoSQL database developed primarily in C++. Previously, Yaniv held multiple roles at Red Hat from 2007 to 2022, including Senior Director of Software Engineering, leading teams responsible for OpenStack and various storage products. Yaniv's tenure at Red Hat was marked by receiving the 2020 President's Club Award for outstanding performance. Earlier professional experiences include director-level positions in quality assurance at XtremIO and Red Hat Israel, along with significant roles at Check Point Software Technologies in security services and infrastructure. Yaniv holds a BSc in Computing and Networks from the University of Hertfordshire.
