Emil Motycka has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Emil began their career by founding Emil's Lawns in third grade, providing seasonal services to numerous customers and expanding operations through acquisitions.

Afterwards, Emil gained experience in various roles, including a Marketing and Leasing Intern at Tebo Properties, a Sustainability and Marketing Intern at Frontier Airlines, and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Emil then joined Formations, LLC as a Real Estate Market Intern, conducting research and analysis for investment and acquisition purposes.

In 2014, Emil joined Rachio where they held roles including VP of Customer Experience, Director of Customer Experience, and Vice President of Customer Success. Emil was responsible for developing and managing the customer experience, optimizing the customer journey, and creating software platforms to expand sales channels.

Next, Emil worked at TruGreen as the Director of Digital Technologies, leading initiatives related to emerging technologies to improve the customer experience and profitability through the introduction of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Following their time at TruGreen, Emil worked at Sunday as a Senior Product Manager, leading initiatives to optimize and expand product offerings for lawn care services.

Currently, Emil is working at Scythe Robotics as a Senior Product Manager. Scythe Robotics is focused on building fully-autonomous and all-electric commercial mowers to enhance the productivity and safety of landscape professionals.

Emil Motycka attended the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2014 to 2015, they pursued further education by completing an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate program at Stanford University.
