Sharmila Miller

Sharmila Miller is currently the Head of Arts Department at Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows School District No.42, where Sharmila oversees curriculum support, leadership, and organization of resources. Sharmila also serves as the Interdisciplinary Arts Academy Director & Drama Teacher, managing various roles within the theatre industry. Sharmila is a member of the Committee for Action on Social Justice at the British Columbia Teachers’ Federation and an Emerging Scholar Scholarship Recipient at ISSOTL. Sharmila has previous experience as an Actor and Office Production Assistant in the film and television industry. Sharmila holds a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for HR from Cornell University, along with degrees in Arts and Education from various institutions.
