Jesper Nyvold Larsen has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jesper is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at SDC, a role they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2021, they were the Head of Development, Core Banking at SDC, where they managed a team of 170 people and was responsible for backend banking systems, payments products, and the Open Banking platform.

Before joining SDC, Jesper worked as the VP Product Development at TIA Technology from 2014 to 2015, where they were in charge of a 70-member software development team and led the project to renew the entire TIA product suite. Jesper also has experience as a self-employed consultant and startup entrepreneur from 2012 to 2014.

From 2010 to 2012, Jesper served as the Senior Director of Development at Deltek and was responsible for three global software development teams. Prior to this, from 2006 to 2010, they held various roles at Maconomy, including Head of Development and Development Manager, where they managed development teams, was responsible for offshore teams, and played a key role in product roadmapping.

Jesper started their career at Oracle Denmark as a Local Product Manager for Oracle Middleware from 2002 to 2006, where they were involved in pre-sales activities, solution architecture, and providing feedback to Oracle development. Prior to that, they worked as a software developer and team lead at Maconomy SA from 1996 to 2002.

Jesper's early work experience includes roles as an IT Consultant at Maersk Data from 1995 to 1996, a Research Assistant at the Technical University of Denmark in 1994, and a student worker in IT support at IBM from 1989 to 1994. Overall, they bring a wealth of leadership, development, and technical expertise to their current role as CTO at SDC.

Jesper Nyvold Larsen has a diverse education history. Jesper started their education at Engholmskolen in Allerød, where they completed their elementary school from 1977 to 1985. Jesper then attended Allerød Gymnasium from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained their high school diploma. Afterward, they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, earning their M.Sc. from 1988 to 1994. In 1998, Jesper enrolled at Copenhagen Business School and completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, focusing on Management Accounting and Information Technology, which lasted from 1998 to 2002. Continuing their education, Jesper attended the Scandinavian International Management Institute (SIMI) in 2008, participating in a Leadership Development Program. In 2009, they obtained a Certification in "The 4 Disciplines of Execution" from FranklinCovey Institute. Jesper expanded their knowledge in 2017 at INSEAD, where they completed the Executive Management Programme. Jesper'smost recent educational endeavor in 2021 involved attending Copenhagen Business School for the study of Boardwork and Corporate Governance specifically tailored for Fintech startups.
