Dave Krause has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Dave is currently the Global Head of Technology at SDFX Studios since September 2020. Prior to this, they founded RiseUp Technologies, Inc. in 2018, where they provided NextGen IT services and solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Dave also founded Drone Defend in 2018, a premier counter-drone security integrator.

Before starting their own ventures, Dave worked as the CTO and Co-Founder at InData Consulting from 2014 to 2018. Dave also held the position of VP, Global Technology at Deluxe 3D, LLC (Stereo D) from 2013 to 2014, where they worked on projects such as "Need for Speed" and "Thor: The Dark World".

Earlier in their career, Dave served as the Director of Systems Architecture at Integrated Media Technologies, Inc. (IMT) from 2008 to 2013. Dave also held roles at South Park Studios, Threshold Animation Studios, Paramount Pictures, and Warner Bros. Feature Animation, where they gained experience in technology management and administration. Overall, Dave Krause has a strong background in technology, particularly in the creative and engineering fields.

Dave Krause attended Harper College from 1993 to 1995, but did not earn a degree or pursue a specific field of study. Dave then enrolled at Ray Vogue College of Design in 1994 and completed a program in Computer Graphics. Dave's formal education culminated at Columbia College Chicago, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Film/Animation from 1995 to 1999.
