Vincent Defebo

Vincent Defebo has a diverse work experience spanning throughout various industries. Vincent began their career as an Intern and Production Assistant for the Pittsburgh Steelers, where they gained experience in videography and editing. Vincent then worked as an Assistant Editor for Laura Davis Productions, contributing to the production of DVD featurettes for the film "Spanglish." At MTV Networks, Vincent served as a Casting Assistant for a brief period.

Vincent then pursued opportunities in the film industry, starting at Paramount Pictures as a Production Assistant and later becoming a Production Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the President of Feature Production Management Worldwide. In this role, they supervised the financial analysis of feature film productions and managed the day-to-day operations of a departmental staff.

Moving into the business development field, Vincent joined Victaulic as an Account Manager, consistently increasing sales over the years. Vincent later transitioned to Stereo D as a Stereo Producer, leading the successful delivery of 3D conversion and VFX projects for feature films. Vincent then joined Ferguson Fire and Fabrication as a Business Development/Outside Sales professional, focusing on sales and operational strategy implementation.

Currently, Vincent is the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Operations at SDFX Studios. In this role, they support the high-level activities of the global company operations and production departments, working closely with the executive team to manage costs and oversee various aspects of the studio's operations.

Throughout their career, Vincent has demonstrated proficiency in budgeting, planning, sales, and client management across different industries, showcasing a well-rounded skill set and adaptability.

Vincent Defebo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Production from Kent State University from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Baldwin High School from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Vincent has obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2018, they acquired a certification in Data-driven Decision Making from Coursera. In 2017, they completed courses and obtained certifications in Introduction to Marketing and Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies, both from Coursera. In 2015, Vincent obtained a certification in Excel Lookups, Functions, and Macros from AcademyX Computer Training. Vincent also holds a certification as a Personal Trainer from the American Aerobic Association International/International Sports Medicine Association, obtained in 2012. Lastly, Vincent has a certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute, obtained in 2017.
