Jim McCormick is an experienced professional in UAS and advanced technology development, currently serving as the UAS Observing Systems Architect at System Dynamics International, Inc. since October 2013. McCormick has been an Applied Cognition Researcher and Entrepreneur at No Excuse Technology, LLC since October 2012. Previous roles include Observing System Architect at NOAA, Research Program Manager at DARPA, and Deputy Director for UAVs and Airborne Imagery Systems at the Office of the Secretary of Defense. McCormick's military experience includes serving as Branch Chief for the Global Hawk at the United States Air Force and as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer with the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Utah State University.
