Benjamin Messiaen has over two decades of experience in fire prevention and safety. Currently serving as a Préventionniste PRV2 at Brigade de sapeurs-pompiers de Paris since March 2002, Benjamin is involved in the study of building permit files, analysis of safety documents, and the creation of technical opinions for public authorities. In addition, Benjamin has consulted on approximately 12,000 annual construction projects and has held various leadership positions, including Chef de service and Chef d’agrès. As a Sapeur-pompier volontaire with SDIS 78 since May 2023 and a trainer in fire risk prevention at 2L-IPS since September 2019, Benjamin focuses on conducting evacuation exercises and providing training in public safety. A former deputy head at the United Nations, Benjamin contributed to fire safety management in military camps in south Lebanon. Academic credentials include a Brevet de Technicien Supérieur in Management from Université Paris Cité and a Diplôme d'Etudes Universitaires Générales in Applied Foreign Languages from Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale.
