Brian Govereau

Brian Govereau is a seasoned professional in employment assistance and training, currently serving as a Supervisor and Employment & Training Advocate at Seabird Island Band since February 2014. With extensive experience supporting Aboriginal First Nation clients in their job search and training efforts, Brian employs one-on-one counseling to guide clients toward gainful employment. Additionally, as the Owner/Operator of Brian’s Forklift Training, Brian provides industry-recognized certification training for mobile equipment operators. Previous roles include Program Coordinator for BladeRunners at Metis Nation British Columbia and various positions at the Metis Skills & Employment Centre and Mission Athletic Club. Brian holds multiple relevant qualifications, including a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education from Vancouver Community College and an Advanced Certificate in Career Development Practitioner from Douglas College.
